about us

Hello and welcome to the growing jam web shop. At this time we are unable to open our cosy bricks and mortar shop in Falmouth and have a chat while you browse so we are joining the rest of you online. Online shopping is not our forte and to be honest we have neglected this area of business in favour of lounging around drinking coffee. This is not now an option! although to be fair there is still lounging going on...

So we have opened up a brand new web shop and added some fresh new releases and some fine old ones so you can purchase them from the comfort of your home in the modern style. The selection reflects what would be in the shop if it were open so it is an eclectic mix that we're showcasing. There is much, much more stock and we are still ordering so if you have something in mind, please use the contact form and we can satisfy your vinyl needs.

... below, some blub about the actual shop....

Born in the spring of 2003 we have been bringing an esoteric collection of music, film and art to locals and visitors alike – not to mention exceptional coffee and some nice biscuits too.

Spread over two floors we have an ever expanding range of vinyl both new and preloved... everything from current indie new releases to soul and jazz classics. One of a dying breed of old fashioned record shops (with actual records in it) Jam aims to share our finds in new and old music – we stock what we like and hope some other people may like it too (or we won’t make any money)

On the site here we’re just selling the music for now but if you find yourself nearby anytime do call in and see what else is on offer. One of our customers called it a culture shop – as well as some outstanding musical treasures on cd and vinyl there’s art, photography and design books and journals; contemporary fiction at great prices and as we said some rather special coffee.
